We at Samyak are delighted and very proud to announce that we have successfully delivered yet another IIoT project – Level Monitoring System.

The project is developed for Navi Mumbai Corporation.

Project Details:

Navi Mumbai Corporation manages around 40+ public toilets at different locations. Each toilet has underground tank where waste water gets collected. These tanks have maximum storage limit.  Waste management trucks go to each of those locations and collect the waste so that tanks do not get overflowed.

Imagine having 40+ such locations and not having any idea what is going on in real time to each of that location. In this case what trucks have to do is

  • Based on previously known data, list down average time it takes for every location’s tank to fill
  • You can not rely on average time, as number of people going to use toilet can vary drastically every day
  • So trucks will go to each location way before its average time to be cautious

Following above approach causes a lot of under/over utilization of resources:

  • Going before required time at a location may cause more trips of trucks than required
  • For doing more trips than required results in requirement of more number of trucks
  • It will result in requirement of more drivers
  • More petrol/diesel usage
  • If at any location, at some day, many more people uses toilet than anticipated, then it will result in truck reaching after tank overflow which will cause chaos
What if there is a solution which takes real-time data of liquid level in tank and sends it to cloud!

This will result in central level monitoring of all the tanks sitting anywhere around the world at anytime. One can monitor the current level of liquid in all the tanks and manage all the trucks. Admin can guide all the trucks to go to which location exactly at which time.

Some of the features of this system:

  • Samyak provides End to End IIoT solution – hardware, software and communication between them
  • Real-Time data gathering of liquid level
  • Easy plug and play type installation
  • Notifications to truck driver when tank level crosses a certain value so that drivers can know at what time they need to go to which location
  • Data analytics will help in predicting time it will take for each tank to fill based on past data. It can also predict season wise or day to day wise.
  • Two way communication means sitting at remote location also one can open and close the valve of the tank

All of the above features will help in reducing over/under utilization of resources listed above. Some of the advantages of Level Monitoring System are:

  • Optimization of Demand-Supply
  • Reduce human resource requirement
  • Trace leakages in tank in real time
  • Witness no overflow or dry running of tanks
  • Keep costs low

Plug and play type easy installation makes this solution very useful for industries. Also toilet tank monitoring is just one of the application of Level Monitoring System.

There are many such applications like Water Level Monitoring in tank, Oil Level Monitoring in industries, Beverage Level Monitoring, Fuel Level Monitoring etc…

Do contact us for more details. Currently we are offering free trials for this system also.

I would like to congratulate team Samyak for delivering such a problem solving solution to Navi Mumbai Corporation and for doing yet another IIoT project release – Level Monitoring System.
